Ronchisonant - Making a snorting noise; snorting I sometimes make rhonchisonant sounds while I'm sleeping. I don't realize it, but my wife sure does. It doesn't happen very often, but it's something that seems to annoy. If we break down the word - Ronchi means abnormal sounds that can be heard when a doctor listens to your lungs with a stethoscope. The doctors are checking for issues that may be caused by underlying conditions. Sonant means sound produced by the vocal cords. Particularly when the vocal cords are vibrating.
I hope you are having a great day today!
The word librate has two interesting definitions - the first is oscillate or seem to oscillate and the second is to stay poised. Librate rhymes with Vibrate and is pronounced in the same way.
I think about trapeze artist swinging back and forth, the tik-tocking of old clocks, and metronomes. There’s a battle between the trees and wind outside. The trees seem to librate against the strong wind and they refuse to bow down and seem to grip the dirt beneath them with greater force. But the wind is cunning and will not cease, whereas a tree’s lives could be measured in centuries, the wind’s life is eternal.
