Ronchisonant - Making a snorting noise; snorting I sometimes make rhonchisonant sounds while I'm sleeping. I don't realize it, but my wife sure does. It doesn't happen very often, but it's something that seems to annoy. If we break down the word - Ronchi means abnormal sounds that can be heard when a doctor listens to your lungs with a stethoscope. The doctors are checking for issues that may be caused by underlying conditions. Sonant means sound produced by the vocal cords. Particularly when the vocal cords are vibrating.
Inspissate: To thicken or congeal
I’ve seen gravy inspissate when left alone for too long. I’ve
seen fat from meat inspissate when left in the fridge.
Do we inspissate when we are sluggish, lazy, and eat too
much junk food? I certainly feel that way from time to time. It seems that it
sneaks up on you, the thickening and congealing, and it’s worse as you age. Of
course, if you are healthy and fit you don’t experience inspissating. I plan on keeping active so I don’t turn into
a blob!
